The Honourable Cader Sayed-Hossen, Minister of Industry, Commerce & Consumer Protection launched formal consultations with the public and private sectors for the setting up of the ‘Observatoire de L’Industrie’ portal to be hosted at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Consumer Protection on Thursday 27th of October 2011 at the Link Hotel in Ebène.
The ‘Observatoire de L’industrie’ aims at bridging the information gap between public sector and entrepreneurs. The portal constitutes a website which will group maximum and updated information on global and regional business environment to help enterprises and investors as well as students to be aware of business opportunities in the country and the region. The portal has been developed to facilitate access to updated information on economy watch, business start-ups, market intelligence, trade agreements, sustainable development, global competitiveness and industry statistics and trade flows.
The ‘Observatoire de L’industrie’ portal will be operational by December 2011.
