We are pleased to inform you that the All India Management Association (AIMA), the national apex body of the Management profession in India is organising The Global Business Leaders Series with the theme Leadership in a Globalised World: Nurturing New Partners in Mauritius on 30th May 2012.

The Summit is being organised in collaboration with the Board of Investment, Enterprise Mauritius, Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indian High Commission.

AIMA is a non-lobbying organization working closely with industry, Government and Academia to further the cause of management profession in India. AIMA is represented on the Boards of India’s premier business institutions like Indian Institute of Management (IIMs). AIMA is also represented on the number of Government bodies. Furthermore AIMA contributes to management learning and practice in India by offering various services to areas of Testing, Distance education, research, publications and management development programmes.

The summit will bring together business leaders and policy makers from across Asia and Africa. Scheme Terms and Conditions

1.0 Background

In the budget speech, paragraph 369, provision has been made to provide a grant to finance the participation of SMEs in international fairs up to a maximum of Rs. 100,000 per year.

The Participation in International Fairs Grant Scheme (PIFGS) is meant to assist companies/enterprises which are already exporting or export ready.  Enterprise Mauritius will provide eligible companies/enterprises from the manufacturing and agricultural sectors with a financial assistance to meet part of expenses in relation to their participation in International Fairs. The grant covers the costs of stand, air ticket and accommodation. Eligible companies/enterprises may benefit up to a maximum of Rs. 100,000 per year, irrespective of the number of trade fairs they attend.
